How to Set Timer in Camera of iPhone and iPad running on iOS8

In this tutorial, you will learn how to set timer on Camera of iPhone running on iOS8.

The Camera app has several new functions in iOS8, including photo timer with several options.

Step 1. To use the timer, go to “Camera” app and choose the “Photo” function at its bottom.

Step 2. Then tap the little clock icon on top of the screen. You’ll be presented with different timer choices: putting timer to “OFF”, setting timer to 3 seconds and setting timer to 10 seconds. We’ll choose 10 seconds.

Step 3. Now tap the photo-making button at the bottom of the screen. In 10 seconds our iPhone will automatically snap our photo.

Result: Timer app allows you to not only take photos with your friends, but take more sophisticated selfies with all of you in it. For a better photo using timer mode you might need to use an iPhone tripod that can be purchased from most of phone accessories shops or eBay.
